Gerrard announced as the last major LFC legend for charity match with AC Milan
After the last legend was announced - Sami Hyypia - for the LFC Foundation charity match against AC Milan, it appeared that the list was complete.
But Steve Gerrard has been announced, to cap off a fantastic list of legends to take on the Italian giants.
The former Reds captain will take to the Anfield pitch in March alongside many former team-mates from that oh, so famous night in Istanbul in May 2005.
On his addition to the squad, Gerrard told Liverpoolfc.com: "The LFC Legends game is always a great day with a fantastic atmosphere; I get to catch up with old teammates and play alongside footballing legends while raising money for a fantastic cause, the LFC Foundation.
"With AC Legends like Maldini, Kaká, Dida and Gattuso coming to Anfield, the crowds are in for a treat; and with our European Cup history it’s going to be an extremely competitive game."
