Gallagher: Man City ref got it wrong with that penalty
We could all see it, there's been plenty of discussion about it, and the only ones that will say it was a definite penalty will be Man City fans and Pep Guardiola and his players.
Watching Silva go for a little tumble in the box, you could see the protestations of the West Ham players as City were given a pen - they were appalled that the decision was even considered for a clear dive; akin to Real Madrid's penalty at the weekend.
But it's been highlighted today as a really poor refereeing decision by former Premier League referee, Dermot Gallagher.
Speaking on Sky Sports this morning, he said: "I think no (there was not enough contact), but it is also not the biggest howler you have ever seen.
"There are many people who think it is a penalty.
"I do not, I think Bernardo goes across him, he puts his leg across him and he makes the contact.
"The referee thinks he has tripped him, but I would not have given a penalty."
