Former Man Utd 'star': Dani Alves would 'fit in well at Liverpool'
An interesting take, to say the least. You wonder how much of it is Dani Alves wanting to join Liverpool, and his mate trying to get him one final massive move.
That mate would be former Man Utd midfielder Kleberson, who spent two seasons at Utd about 15 years ago.
As for Alves, the Brazilian full-back, now in the tail-end of his previously glittering career has just left PSG after a short-term contract and is looking for another new club.
At the age of 36 Alves probably has a final move in him, maybe a good 12 months to give a club in the top tier. But for Liverpool, he'd only be a back-up to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
That didn't stop the 40-year old former Brazilian international from recommending him though, saying: "I wanted to get Dani Alves to join me in the MLS! He’s a phenomenal player with amazing quality.
"I feel maybe could fit in well at Liverpool and Klopp would like him as a style of player. He’s very technical, fast and has an incredible temperament in the big games. He’s a winner."
