Dutch star Weghorst wants Liverpool move
According to some words from Voetbal International's Suleyman Ozturk, 26 year old Dutch international Wout Weghorst wants to move to Anfield.
If we're honest, we've never heard of the lad but anyone that loves Liverpool that much is at least worth a cursory look.
The former AZ Alkmaar star moved to the Bundesliga in the summer to VfL Wolfsburg and has so far scored 8 goals for the club.
He does not fit what you'd think of as being in the mould of Klopp's sort of player, and is more of a conventional target-man, apparently. But at 6'6, if he's more of a Crouchie than an Carroll there may be a place for him at Anfield.
Presumably writing on the subject of Weghorst's future, Ozturk said (via the Liverpool Echo): "If he is in charge himself, he will end up at Liverpool, that’s his dream club, and if he grows another three to four years, why not?"
Just can't see this happening, unless he's a 6'6 Bobby clone but fair play to the lad.
