Divock Origi has Liverpool future in his own hands
Reports today claim that Liverpool have put a very good contract on the table for the Belgian forward, who will now have to make a decision on his own future.
According to London based Premier League journalist Kristof Terreur, the club had very positive discussions with Origi and his agent before the player went on holiday this summer.
Although it's generally expected the striker will stay at Anfield for at least another 12 months and sign a new contract, it is still up to the 24-year old as to where his future is.
Liverpool, though, as well as Jurgen Klopp are keen to retain Origi's services for the new season after he impressed more than once in the final couple of months of last season.
