Dejan Lovren 'likely to be offloaded' in the summer, according to reports
Regardless of how this season pans out for the Reds, we'd all expect some fairly hefty transfer activity next summer.
It's a long way off right now, granted but you know that plans are already being drawn up by Klopp and his team. We won't 'stand still' in the transfer window two summers in a row.
Particularly not if we win the Premier League and/or Champions League again. But today's news claims that one of the Reds senior stars could be leaving this summer.
And that player is Dejan Lovren. Who, according to ESPN, will be on his way out in the summer transfer window.
In all fairness, it's probably one of the easiest transfer stories to write. Because, despite him being in great form prior to his injury, that is precisely his problem: constant injuries.
The 30 year old simply can't be relied upon to stay fit, no matter how unfortunate, or how much it isn't his fault. At 30 years old, we're unlikely to have a better time to sell him on.
