Carragher reckons Liverpool have a weak point in squad
If you'd watched Liverpool last night, as a Liverpool fan, you'll have been mimicking John W. Henry from a few years ago in asking what exactly Jamie Carragher was on?
The former Red was on a mission to single-handedly cram as many negatives observations and comments into a co-commentary in a 90 minute period, it seemed.
He even managed to rival Martin Tyler, such was his negativity towards his former club at times. Even going as far as to criticise the decision to start with Sadio Mane on the bench.
But after the match, he was talking to the studio panel, when he said: "I hope we have a title race like last season.
"Arsenal and Spurs have improved and maybe they can bridge that gap.
"It would be better if more teams are involved in the title race.
"Yes they have a squad good enough to win (the league). I still think Liverpool are short.
"Success is to win the league. There is only one recognised left-back at the club.
"If Liverpool get injuries it will cause them problems and it may hinder them at the end of the season."
