Breaking: Premier League clubs to donate £20m to NHS, £125m to EFL & National League
Some breaking news in the last ten minutes, as it was announced that Premier League clubs have agreed to donate £20 million to the NHS, local communities, and groups most affected by the Coronavirus outbreak.
Also discussed was whether the country's top 20 clubs should give 30% of wages to the NHS for a month, but this is something clubs will discuss with their own players. Something that Manchester United have already put in to place.
Of most interest to football fans though, was an agreement that all 20 top flight clubs voted on, to give £125 million to the EFL and National League clubs.
The move comes as a number of Premier League clubs started to make their own moves to support their local communities and NHS workers during difficult times.
