Bobby in contention for Merseyside derby
Having limped off in the first 45 minutes on Sunday, Bobby Firmino made a remarkable recover and looked is if he could feature against Watford at Anfield on Wednesday night.
As it turned out, he wasn't even in the match-day squad, with Klopp opting to pick Origi instead. Much to everybody's confusion.
That actually turned out to be a masterstroke as Liverpool ran out as massive 5-nil winners against the side placed seventh in the table.
But until the the derby side is announced on Sunday though, it seems that the debate will be whether Klopp sticks with Divock Origi or recalls Bobby.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference today, Klopp provided an update: "He was out there in the running yesterday but we have to see how he reacts. I will see him in a few minutes for the first time since yesterday.
"He is very positive, that’s Bobby’s nature. We have to see. I don’t see any other player – OK, we have maybe two or three more of them – being even in contention for that game after the little problem he had.
"It looks really good but if he will be ready for Sunday, I don’t know in this second."
