Ball-boy hero from LFC vs Barca game moves to Liverpool under 18's
The young lad that became famous for his quick-thinking in feeding the ball to Trent Alexander-Arnold during the Anfield leg of the Champions League semi-final has been moving up in the world during this pre-season, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Oakley Cannonier is the lad's name, and he made quite the name for himself back in May when his quick thinking led to Trent picking out Divock Origi free in the Barca box.
The rest, of course, is complete history and Liverpool progressed, before beating Premier League rivals Spurs in the final.
For the 14 year old though, it's been onwards and upwards too, as he usually plays for LFC under 16's but turned out for the under 18's side today.
The youngster scored the opening goal against Burton Albion in a 4-nil win at the academy and looks to be building on his match winning display last season..
