Arsene Wenger: Destiny is against Liverpool
According to the former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, destiny looks to be against Liverpool as the title race comes to a climax,
The Reds - once again - end a weekend a point behind Champions Man City, with just 2 games to go and Wenger believes that all signs point to us missing out again.
Burnley had managed to give a solid accounting of themselves by the hour mark at Turf Moor today, before City fluked again, with a goal that was barely 3cm over the goal-line.
For Wenger, this is as good an indication as any that destiny does not favour us. Speaking after the City game on BeIN Sports today, he said: "There is still hope but they go to Newcastle.
"Newcastle is not an easy place for Liverpool . They are safe and I’m scared for Liverpool even with one game to go City could have already won the Championship.
"They will fight until the end. it looks like there is destiny that is against Liverpool.
"They dominated for such a long period English football. From 89-90 until today they cannot win the championship anymore and every time there is small things against them."
