Antonio Mohamed says: "Maybe a Liverpool shirt has more weight"
It's probably not a great surprise, considering how the Monterrey boss conducted himself during the match, but the Mexican team's manager has had a right moan after the game.
He got into it a little bit with Klopp in the second half, when he felt that a red card was warranted for Joe Gomez's first foul, and later should've received a second yellow.
Of course, he totally ignores that the fact that his own player - Gallardo - should've been booked, at least, for his foul on Milner, and later received a second yellow himself when he was only getting his first yellow.
But he continued to rage on post-match, when he said (via the Liverpool Echo): "For me, there was a red card, especially the first foul and the second.
"So I talked to the referee. Maybe a Liverpool shirt has more weight, therefore the Liverpool player wasn't sent off."
It won't bother the Reds or Jurgen Klopp though, as we march on to the final and the chance of our 2nd trophy of the season and third since June.
