Andy Robertson wants to retire at Liverpool
There's been plenty of time for our players to reflect of their time at Liverpool so far, and a lot of it has been shared on social media.
It's all been light-hearted, funny videos and positivity. Something the fans no doubt need at this time, when football - often our main release - is off the table.
Apparently though, Andy Robertson has had plenty of time for self-reflection, and he's decided he'd quite like to be at Anfield for the rest of his career.
Speaking to BTSport, he said: "My ideal situation just now is to retire at Liverpool.
"It’s going to be quite hard but I would love to be able to finish my career here. If I can keep my standards as high up to a James Milner type of age, I would be quite happy with that and call it a day then.
"I’d always said I would love to pull on the Celtic top to play; I obviously played for Dundee United, which I loved. Look, you never say never.
"You’re a long time retired, as they say, and I want to play as long as I can. If that’s finishing up in Scotland or at one point going up to Scotland, I’d be open to it. But my ideal situation is probably finishing and hopefully a couple more trophies at Liverpool."
If the option was there to tie down the best left-back in the country for the best years of his career, then we're positive the club would be more than happy to reward him over the next 18 months.
