A potential further injury blow for Liverpool title rivals Man City
The 2nd full week of the international break has only just got under way and already Liverpool's main - and perhaps only - title rivals Man City have suffered another blow.
The winners of last season's title have already lost a number of players this season, including Leroy Sane, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, whilst Kevin De Bruyne is a regular in the physio room.
Also, there is a potential absence through suspension for Bernado Silva, who has been charged by the FA for a Tweet a couple of months ago. Silva is unlikely to receive the full 6-match ban but he could still be missing for a game or two.
But now one of our rival's key forward men is potentially not going to be fit for the weekend - at least - after it was revealed by his international coach that he'd chosen not to pick him because he was 'carrying a problem'.
Via the Liverpool Echo, he said: "Sergio Aguero is not here because he’s been carrying a problem and has not been training 100 per-cent with his club." So it appears as if Aguero has been playing through a problem with his club and may not be available this weekend.
With LFC already sitting comfortably 8 points clear of City going into Sunday's match against Man Utd, the current holders can barely afford any other slip ups that further injuries could lead to.
